In Cerro Gordo County, tourism generated an estimated $201.78 million in visitor spending, a record for the county and the 11th highest County level in the State. 2020 Band Fesitval Spirit Week
The COVID-19 pandemic rained on our parade and cancelled the regular Band Festival celebrated in 2020, however, festival organizers still found a way to celebrate. "Spirit Week" took the place of the traditional festival with activities to honor Mason City's rich musical heritage, including online musical performances, a memorial at Meredith Willson's gravesite, and a big reverse parade.
