Marketing & Leadership Development Director
In Allyson’s role as the Marketing and Leadership Development Director, she conducts all marketing efforts for the Chamber, assists with the Global Familiarization tours and directs the Leadership North Iowa and YIELD programs.
Allyson attended Iowa State University where she completed the Honors Program and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology in 2008. Following graduation, Allyson worked as the Communications Specialist for the U.S. Pork Center of Excellence in Ames before beginning her job with the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation. In her five years with the Foundation, Allyson served as the Communications Manager, organizing a number of giving programs and overseeing all communications and event planning.
Originally from Northwood, Iowa, Allyson returned to North Iowa in September of 2013 with her husband, Chad, who farms in rural Northwood. Allyson worked as the Marketing Specialist for the Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association before starting at the Chamber in May of 2014. The Krulls have two young children, Kendall and Evan, and enjoy camping, downhill skiing, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Cyclones!
