Ride under the light of a summer moon on Friday, August 2, as the Chamber’s Worksite Wellness Committee hosts the 2019 Moonlight Bike Ride. The event organizers encourage community members to engage in healthy activities this summer; this is just one of many initiatives created to motive North Iowans to get out and move more!
Registration begins at 8PM with an Activity Zone complete with a bike safety station, giant board games, glow-in-the-dark decorations, bike blender, music, and more! At 10PM, participants will ride a 10-mile loop under the light of the moon. A pit stop will be made at NIACC for a quick break and photo opportunity. The ride will end at Southbridge with breakfast burritos and networking. Admission is $25 for an individual and $50 for a family of four. See the enclosed registration form for additional details.
Endorsed by Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative (HSI), the Moonlight Bike Ride aligns with the goals of HSI for Iowa to become the healthiest state in the nation.
