Breaking Glass

Iowa Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Julie Kenney is the featured speaker for this month’s Breaking Glass Leadership Series. Scheduled from 8-9:30AM on Thursday, February 25 at the Commerce Center, a virtual option is offered as well.

Julie Kenney grew up on her family’s crop and livestock farm. She spent nearly 15 years in the agribusiness industry, serving in marketing and communication roles before being appointed Deputy Secretary of the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship in 2018. Kenney currently owns and operates a corn and soybean farm in Story County. An advocate for Iowa agriculture, she regularly hosts international visitors and media/online influencers at her farm.
