November’s Breaking Glass, sponsored by Clear Lake Bank & Trust, will featuring Mason City native, Sarah Stanton Kurz. This session will be held from 8-9:30AM on Thursday, November 19 at the Commerce Center.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Business and holds an MBA in Business Management. She began her career in the Motorola call center in Chicago. After ten years of learning the in's and out's of workplace policy, she took another risk and started her own consulting business - Project & Process Solutions. Sarah has contracts with the NCAA, global meat manufacturers, and several large agricultural companies, each of which is a male-dominated industry.
Sarah is excited to come back “home” and share her career journey. She describes it as nothing and everything that she imagined. According to Sarah, she adheres to her business philosophy: "Do not ASK for a seat at the table, pull out a chair and sit down."
