Annual Meeting

Sponsorship: $750 (limit 3, first right of refusal)

The Chamber’s Annual Meeting recognizes individuals, businesses, and volunteers for achievements and highlights the Chamber’s accomplishments. The luncheon menu features “A Taste of North Iowa,” with specialty food and drink provided by generous Chamber members.

The State of North Iowa

Sponsorship: $1,000 (limit 1, first right of refusal)

The State of North Iowa is an opportunity to hear directly from city and county leadership from Mason City, Clear Lake, and Greater North Iowa as they highlight recent accomplishments, outline future goals, and offer ideas about current business and community issues. This event compliments the Vision North Iowa strategic planning efforts.

CEO Conversations

Sponsorship: $600 (series - 4 sessions)

CEO Conversations offers sage advice for finding your way in the business world. These educational seminars are held during the lunch hour, featuring local speakers and facilitators. Participation is limited to encourage thoughtful, valuable conversations.

Breaking Glass Leadership Series

Sponsorship: $150 (each session)

“Breaking Glass” offers a unique learning experience to help women stretch their leadership potential, drive their careers with vision and purpose, and make a greater impact within their organizations. These workshops will challenge attendees to optimize their role as women in the workforce.

Community Concierge Service

The Community Concierge is a service of the Chamber of Commerce, with the goal of helping employers recruit and retain executive-level employees. The Community Concierge provides resources to promote a smooth transition to North Iowa and helps the employee and their family forge a lasting connection with the community.

New Member Luncheon

Sponsorship: $250 (limit 1; first right of refusal)

The New Member Luncheon is an opportunity for new Chamber members to connect with long-standing members of the Chamber, including board and committee members. Attendees learn more about the value of Chamber membership.

Golf Outing

Tournament Sponsor: $1,500  (limit 1; first right of refusal)
Closest to the Pin Sponsor: $600  (limit 1; first right of refusal)
Hole Sponsor: $350

The Annual Chamber Golf Outing is the can’t-miss summer event of the year! Hole sponsors provide extra fun for this four-person “Best Shot,” and golf carts are included. Organized by the Program Committee, this is a great networking event to entertain clients, co-workers, and friends.

Chamber Bowl

Sponsorship: $350 (limit 1/night; first right of refusal)

The Chamber Bowl is a fun winter social event limited to 12 teams of six players each night. Dinner is provided and prizes are awarded for bowling skill, attire, and just for fun. Members have their choice of a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening of bowling.

Business After Hours

Sponsorship: $275

Business After Hours are the Chamber’s most popular get-togethers where members can meet, exchange business cards, and talk business in a relaxed and informal setting.

Operation Thank You

Co-host Sponsor: $500  (limit 1; first right of refusal)
Packet Sponsor: $100

During Operation Thank You, Chamber volunteers make personal calls on member businesses to say “Thank You” and deliver packets containing the new Membership Directory, CMO Cards, and other important information. A holiday member appreciation party at the Commerce Center caps off the day.

Chamber Cup

The Chamber Cup is an adult field day and team-building competition like no other. Businesses may enter teams of 4 people to compete in numerous challenges. Events will vary from mental games to physical activities, but it’s important to note that this event does not require you to be an athlete in any way. This is all about having fun!

Moonlight Bike Ride

Full Moon Sponsor: $1,000  (limit 2; first right of refusal)
Half Moon Sponsor: $500
Crescent Moon Sponsor: $250
Starry Night Sponsor: 5 volunteers

This 10-mile bike ride starts and ends in the heart of downtown Mason City and celebrates the community’s “bike-ability.” Riders may sign up as individuals, families, or as a business. Pre-ride entertainment contributes to the energetic atmosphere, and a healthy breakfast greets bikers following the ride.

Workplace Wellness Seminar

Sponsorship: $150

A myriad of best practices contributes to workplace wellness. Attendees learn about emergency procedures, security plans, and workplace wellness best practices at these informational seminars.

Ag Breakfast

Event Sponsor: $500 (limit 4; first right of refusal)
Placemat Sponsor: $250 (limit 1; first right of refusal)

Farm and City come together for this annual appreciation breakfast held during national Ag Week. The AgriBusiness Committee arranges for a special speaker on a topic of interest, and Chamber volunteers cook made-to-order omelets.

Ag Tour

Sponsorship: $250

This annual tour provides a rare opportunity to visit and learn more about the region’s agricultural businesses and their impact on the local economy. Examples of past tours include: Sukup Manufacturing, Iowa Traction Railway, Stillwater Greenhouse, Fertile Valley Gardens, and REG Mason City, LLC.

Leadership North Iowa

Sponsorship: $200
Participate: $395

Leadership North Iowa has a long history as the region’s premier leadership training for future community leaders. The 12-week course brings high-potential leaders together to learn new skills and become more familiar with community organizations and the people who operate them. In addition, class members complete a service project. Tuition includes instruction, study materials, a professional photo, graduation ceremony, and assistance with membership to a service club of the participant’s choosing.

YIELD Program

Sponsorship: $100

This high school youth leadership program has become a model for other programs in the region. YIELD (Youth Investing Energy in Leadership Development) students are high school juniors from Mason City High School, Newman High School, and the Mason City Alternative High School who have been identified as high-potential community leaders. In addition to receiving leadership training, the students complete a community impact project.

College Connections

Sponsor: $100

College Connections is a program for college interns designed to connect young workers to the community and to each other. Social and educational activities take place once-a-week throughout June and July, primarily during the lunch hour.

The North Iowa Band Festival is Mason City’s signature annual event. The mission of the Band Festival is to provide a weekend of wholesome family entertainment at little or no cost to the family; to promote and celebrate the rich musical heritage of North Iowa; and to provide an atmosphere which showcases young musicians who are becoming a part of that heritage.
