Mercy

emergency care needs. Designated a Regional Trauma Center, Mercy
Emergency Center is staffed around the clock. The availability of
Mercy Air Life medical helicopter and the local communities' ambulance
services is immeasurable when rapid stabilization and transfer of
patients to specialized services is key to survival.
Mercy Heart
Center is a nationally ranked cardiovascular center performing open-heart
surgery, cardiac catherterization and respiratory care. Mercy Cancer
Center provides chemotherapy, radiation therapy, cancer pain management,
clinical research and many support services, all of which enable
cancer patients to obtain their care without traveling great distances.
Mercy Neuroscience Center provides patients specialized treatment
in neurosurgery, neurology and sleep disorders.
Mercy Medical
Center-North Iowa offers a full range of diagnostic tools and services,
including a wide range of radiology services such as CT scanning,
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultasound and vascular imaging.
Mercy also offers specialized laboratory testing not only for its
own patients, but also as a reference lab for area hospitals and
